Leah Song

Storyteller. Song Catcher. Musician. Cultural Speaker.

Leah Song’s first solo release is here Stretched Out on Your Grave.

“Stretched Out On Your Grave” or “Taim Sinte ar Do Thuamb”, recorded alongside the stunning musicianship of David Brown, is a 17th-century Irish Gaelic poem passed down through time and translated into English, made famous by the incomparable Sinéad O’Connor. This song has been tucked in my back pocket for years, surfacing in quiet moments and small rooms along the way.

A tribute to fortification, strength, and the resilience of all those who came before us.

The Silo Sessions: An Intimate Evening with Leah Song

Dinner at 6:30 PM • Music at 8:00 PM
Join us for a rare gathering inside the Silo as we welcome Leah Song of Rising Appalachia for an intimate night of food, story, and song.

We begin together at 6:30 PM around a shared, seasonally inspired dinner, an invitation into kinship, connection, and the slow ceremony of the table. As the evening deepens, we move into an acoustic set with Leah Song, whose voice and storytelling have long carried themes of earth wisdom, resilience, and community uplift.

This is a chance to experience Leah in her most personal format: close, wholehearted, and woven directly with the people in the room. An offering of nourishment for body and spirit, gathered in the heart of Horse Shoe Farm.

A night to savor. A night to listen. A night to belong.

“My love for music stems from wanting solely to learn a piece of my home so that I could share it with the places that I roamed. Wanting to have the cultural vernacular to tell a piece of the story of my place of birth that was much deeper than what everyone saw on the news...⁣ The deep belief in the power of the arts to impact change, the desire to write a new narrative through music.”
